Yesterday there was some sort of strange power issue in my house. My Monitor started to flicker and then my PC started making a loud buzzing noise. Nothing shut down. After that my fridge started clunking and it was really bizarre!

I was wondering if there was any sort of lasting damage done to my components and how I would check it. I assume that the buzzing was the power supply (which is an evga gold g2, with decent components)

This sort of stuff drives me mad if I believe there has been damage done. What can I check and how?

Been having stuttering and other issues.

I have here freezer which keeps some clunking always after very short power cuts, if compressor was running at the moment.
I guess it would be time to look inside...

Can you list your PC's components? Also as Grandmaster Fap! said; is the stuttering in games only, or does Windows freeze for some time and then becomes responsive again? In addition, what are some of the other issues you mentioned?
