First of all apologies if this should go into a different forum, but I am looking for a little guidance from anyone who has used a courier service to send a desktop internationally.

I pretty much want a barebone PC (no monitor, GPU, HD, SSD etc), and I want to buy it from OCUK. Had great experiences with my systems from OCUK in the past.

I work in India but I visit home in the UK twice a year. I am due home this January.

If I ordered one to arrive at my UK address, whats the best method to courier abroad? Any experiences from anyone like this? I know OCUK offer a worldwide service but unfortunately India is an exception.

I am not comfortable stripping the CPU, heatsink, PSU out of the tower, so ideally I would like to send it intact without breaking it all down.

Any help would be appreciated.

i think i used company excess baggage when i shipped my desktop pc over. I just put the desktop minus the hds in to a box with pillows and shipped it over.Id recommend vacuum sealing it if you can. at least put it in a bag inside the box.
