Morning
Not sure what happend but recently pc started playing up. On shutdown cpu fan spin to max wether its sysfan or cpu fan but gpu fans power down straight away
5 gpus are fine but 6th doesnt even power the fans
Could it be faulty psu?
Out of ideas to be honest

Check the BIOS is up to date.
Reset the BIOS settings.
Re-seat your components.
Try without one GPU, and cycle through them to see if one in particular is causing a problem.
Try swapping your PSU with one from another computer.

PSU can't shut down single output selectively.
It's either all connected parts are getting power or none.

And PSU shuts down when Windows tells motherboard through IIRC that ACPI to shut down.
That leads motherboard's circuitry opening/releasing PS-ON wire's grounding.
If that doesn't happen either Windows fails to give that command or motherboard doesn't respond to it.

Tried all of the above. Reset/update bios. With and without gpu. Onboard gpu. Bios settings. Reseating og components with and without risers. Fresh of with and without updates. I can connect 5 gpu all fine but 6th does not get powered on, normally fans would spin regardless. Tried different cables and nothing. Is there anything that can go wrong with power surge? Can mobo or psu get damaged? Just guessing here
I have a feeling its psu or is it possible to be limited by the power in the socket? Running 1 rig at 1.1kw already and running second on top which collectively will make it 2.2kw. thing is cables should support that on single loop and i have been running 2 rigs for months
1 big qudos basically

You're using something running on your computer to control the fan speed aren't you?

When the computer shuts down, it sets fans to 100% as a safety measure - see if you can replace this program with BIOS settings for fan control.
