so, i build a pc a few months ago. I'm having a few issues, possibly, with making sure that it is running at 100% and working at all.

First issue is where every time i turn on the pc, the screen doesn't start up or when it does it says no signal. then after a few restarts/boots etc. it will get through the bios screen and try to boot into windows.. but as soon at it has loaded the windows 7 logo image the screen will then go black again. i have to go through this process of restarting and powering on and off till finally i manage to get through into windows..once it starts and gets through it is fine to restart the pc again but as soon as its powered off i need to go through the process again.

second issue, possibly, I have a Samsung f3 Tb drive. I just tested the drive out of curiosity with HDTUNE Pro trial, and its stated the HDD has a "ultra DMA CRC Error Count" warning with the following results:
Current worst threshold data status
100 100 0 3 warning

Could this be related to my start up troubles? what can i do about it etc, before anyone says i have done a little research into it and found its to do with possibly the sata cable.

Thirdly, The benchmark results from HD Tune seemed a little off.

could this be causing slow load times while i am trying to play games? namely f1 2010.

for more info please ask ;)

Your minimum speed on the HDD is quite low. I forget what mine was but I don't think it was quite so bad. If you think the error is caused by a didgy SATA cable then change it.

What PSU do you have? How old is it?

1)
I'm probably going to get a solid state drive in a few weeks, so I will be able to do a zero fill on the Samsung ad hope it fixes anything, that's wrong. Any information on that would be helpful.
2)
I'll try and find out a new sata cable later on and see if it makes a difference.
3)
I have an old PSU i bought a few years ago second hand. I think it's antec 750w. not sure on the actual model number.
