PC Due a upgrade me thinks :D

why the hangup about getting motherboards that are more expensive than your cpu!?
is there anything you need that cannot be provided by a decent board?

near top of the range VRM performance for bottom of barrel prices. can't get any better value than that
also has pcie gen 5 nvme capability

your talking about this one right ? ASRock AMD B650 PRO RS, AMD B650, S AM5, DDR5, PCIe 4.0, 3x M.2, 2.5GbE, AMD EXPO™, ATX i dont need wifi.

im just looking for the board you said, having abit of trouble finding it. i think i have now :P

whats the difference in the mATX ? please
actually just had a quick google but it seems that the pro rs matx actually doesn't have the same VRMs as its larger atx brother
it's still better than the asus M-A II we linked earlier but performs the same-ish as the asrock hdv/m.2
still a good entry level board...but nowhere near the performance i assumed (sorry) :(

oh, if going full atx, if wanting to save a few more bob could've gone with the tomahawk (also has wifi for better resale value later down the line)
but the tomahawk doesn't have gen5 nvme ssd support if that matters to you
else the pg lightning - no wifi but has gen5 nvme ssd support
