Hello.

I have a Cisco Aironet Wireless PCMCIA card that I need to use on a HP laptop with no PCMCIA slots only PC Express. Are there any adapters that are any good? They do not make a PC Express version. No other wireless adapter will be suitable.

Thanks.

I have the exact same situation but on a macbook pro. Doing Cisco wireless course by any chance? They do make the adapters, and I thought I ordered one but when it turned up it was the other way around so it runs pc-express cards in pcmcia slots.

Anyway stupid stories aside they look to be about £30 on ebay, I have no idea about the quality though. I cant see there being much difference anyway, just dont drop the laptop on the side with the card sticking out :)

Its for work. The laptop I was using is long overdue an upgrade and has finally died. Second line will not work on it as it is entitled to a upgrade and the choices of laptops are PC-Express only.

I'm not sure how good the adapters are though?

Am I right in thinking the smaller (34?) express slots are compatible with the larger (54?) express card slots?
