Hi all, I saw the other similar thread but didn't want to hijack his so I made this one.

Everything has been working fine for months and it shut down properly last night.

Now when I go to turn it on the computer starts up, all fans start turning and the hard drive light comes on but then nothing.

No POST beep, no USB devices have power, no signal to the display.

I opened it up, cleaned it and resat everything inside but still nothing.

Any idea's?

Many thanks.

Well you should test all components before ordering a new part. Have you any spares lying about that you could swap in and test?

Start with the PSU then RAM, CPU and finally Mobo.

Unfortunately I don't have any spares lying around.

With the fact that it powers on but seems to stop before the POST makes me think it is the mobo.

If it was memory or the CPU wouldn't the POST beep to indicate that?

Anyway I'll run to a local shop and grab a cheap mobo to test it out.

Thanks mate for the help.
