Pc fan cooling (upgraded with pics)

Hi all today I upgraded my computer with an exhaust fan.

Basically I have two fans on the front drawing air in and I have fitted a large fan to the top of the case sucking hot air out.

Now my front two fans originally operated at the same speed but now one is noticeably different in reduced speed and the brightness of the leds.

I had three fan sockets available on the motherboard and the two front fans where originally plugged in to system fan 2 and power fan.

The new exhaust fan I plugged into system fan 1 which was slow so I switch the exhaust fan to the power fan socket and moved one of the intake fans to system fan 1

So my exhaust fan is roughly 1000rpm
One of my intake fans is 1500 rpm
My other intake fan with the issue is only at 700rpm with noticeable dimmer leds

Any ideas if I can increase the speed of this fan?

Had a look in the bios and the is a mode of manual control for system fan 1 but it doesn't make any difference to its rpm

Thanks for looking

In the bios you normally have options for fan speeds for each header, so you can set how fast you want it, but if that isnt doing anything maybe you have software changing your fan speeds.

What make and model is your motherboard, someone with experience using that motherboard might be able to point you in the right direction.

i have noticed that when I first turn it on the fans run at the same speed for a few seconds then settle down the speeds I have listed above.

So that says to me that the availability to run the fans quicker ie the power is there and it must be a setting that they are on.

I am wondering if its just an automatic power saving mode that as the computer starts to heat up the fan speed increases?

every fan is powered off the motherboard mate

they are connected to

sys fan 1 - intake fan
sys fan 2 - intake fan
power fan - exhaust fan

I downloaded speed fan to try and get round this issue and the fan percentages were as follows:

one of my intake fans is set to 100%
the second intake fan is set to 37%
my exhaust fan is running at 63%

I tried to increase all to 100% to see if it made a difference and speedfan let me up them all to 100% but when I minimized and came back to it ten mins later. I noticed my front intake fam was still fairly slow so up on opening speedfan all the percentage had been set back tp the above.

I did notice that when I set them all to 100% there is not a apply/confirm changes button, am I missing something really obvious?

So i ended getting this set up

plus i added another 140mm exhaust fan so i have two intake fans and two exhaust fans.

So after playing space engineers on full settings my temps never went above the below:

GPU - 49c
Hard drive- 24c
Memory - 41c
Cpu Area - 42c

Admittedly these temps were with the fans on full speed, i will experiment with dropping the fan speeds to see how low i can have the fans with a reasonable temp
