Hey, im not sure if this is the right place to post this. A long story cut short my PC fan is going berserk - is there anything i could do to eradicate the noise/problems relating

My specs:-
Acer Aspire M3802 Desktop
Core 2 Quad Q8300 2.5GHz
6GB RAM
2TB HDD
DVDRW
GMA X4500
Windows 7 Home Premium

Upgraded:-
Graphics card to ATI 5770
PSU 450W to a PSU 600W used on old comp

Problem of overheating occurred roughly 3 months later; i had troubles starting the PC up and since the PC has been starting up fine the fan hasnt quieted down since!

The following is what i've done so far (in order) and none have had any impact!
  1. Cleared my CPU and computer of all dust!
  2. Just recently spent £70 on a new 600W just incase it was related to this.
  3. Upgrades to try and take the strain off the CPU (SSD for OS etc) and windows 8 installed
  4. Cleanedof the old paste and applied some new paste on CPU.

I've taken a screenshot from speedfan; Fan 3 and 1 Tend to go quite mad; i'm not sure what the fans are related to either in terms of components being cooled down.

If the fans are plugged into your motherboard only then the bios controls their speed.

If the fans are connected only to the power supply they will always run at full speed (unless you have something connected to inhibit this).

So check your bios fan settings and observe if they run at full pelt while doing so.
