Hi, im new here so forgive me if im in the wrong place. my pc has been having this problem on and off for the last 6 months or so. In the last week or 2 its been happening all the time. Basicly when I hit the power button all the fans start up but it wont boot. I have to reluctantly keep re-setting it untill it powers down and powers itself back up again. That is when it boots. Sometimes i only have to press re-set 5 or 6 times. counted about 20 today :(.
I have done a re-install about 8 months ago, just to speed the thing up. Dont think that caused any probs and dont really want to have to do it again if im not 100% reassured that that will fix it.
My machine is about 4/5 years old. Done a motherboard update yesterday. One thing i noticed is that it only has this prob on the 1st start up of the day. If I shut it down it will boot straight back up again.

Antec are usually decent but I'm still thinking PSU here. Had a similar issue on an old rig and that was the PSU. had to start and restart several times using the power button, once it was up it was solid enough but the inrush current Of all components caused the issues. If you have access to another PSU give it a try.
