Hi, im new here so forgive me if im in the wrong place. my pc has been having this problem on and off for the last 6 months or so. In the last week or 2 its been happening all the time. Basicly when I hit the power button all the fans start up but it wont boot. I have to reluctantly keep re-setting it untill it powers down and powers itself back up again. That is when it boots. Sometimes i only have to press re-set 5 or 6 times. counted about 20 today
.
I have done a re-install about 8 months ago, just to speed the thing up. Dont think that caused any probs and dont really want to have to do it again if im not 100% reassured that that will fix it.
My machine is about 4/5 years old. Done a motherboard update yesterday. One thing i noticed is that it only has this prob on the 1st start up of the day. If I shut it down it will boot straight back up again.
