SP2 doesn't need a floppy for SATA, but original XP does.

haha, i did this a few months ago with a fan header on a motherboard at work. motherboard smoked a bit. nice £300 server board :eek:

Depends on how lucky you are. SP2 doesn't reckognise my SATA drives, there aren't that many around that do, unless you slipstream the drivers onto the CD which is a PITA.
