PC for £250~300?

Hey guys, I am looking for some advice on which computer parts to buy within my budget.

I am not looking for anything too serious right now, if I can run Skyrim on med/high it will be my dream computer:D

My sisters boyfriend is giving me his spare AMD-FX 6300 so I won't be needing a CPU also I do not need keyboard,mouse,OS or monitor.

So what can you recommend for me?

Unfortunately I wasent able to spec a rig that would forfill your needs within budget (running skyrim med-high). However, this spec is slightly out of budget (£50-60).
The build will have a decent HDD with a nice speed and capacity.
Fast RAM @ 2133Mhz.
3 Year Warrenty on the PSU.

However, beacuse of the budget I have chosen the GPU from clearence lines, the reason they are on clearence lines are unknown, these cards could have anything from minor problems such as being delivered without the manual or package was open upon delivery, to the cards being manufacture refurbished.

With your low budget, this is the best I can do, although it's slightly over. Ask your sister's BF he has any other spare parts.

Hi there, Here is my suggestion for a £300 budget:

Its only got 4GB of 1333MHz RAM, but for the vast majority of games it will be plenty.

Also, the GTX 750 (non-Ti) graphics card is not the fastest one - but if you look here it does pretty well considering its price.

The good quality 550W PSU will also allow you to upgrade the graphics card to something much more powerful in the future.

Edit: If you already have a case then take the £33 bitfenix case out and use the money for the R7 265 2GB (which is £30 more expensive than the GTX 750).
 
 
I would still go with the rig I specced.

Faster 8GB RAM (2133mhz) + HDD 1TB (WDC Blue) then the ones provided..

dident realise you had a case, so you could -£36 + £16-19 Optical Drive (if you have one in the case you have) from the budget which would leave you @ £322.35 - £303.35

I dont beleive you will get anywhere near the build for the price, and if so may even need to get parts from otherplaces which are second hand if you cannot stretch the budget.
