I'm useless with sound cards but that one has had some good reviews :) The APU can handle COD I belave. What COD are you referring too and what resolution do you play at?

Would be the latest one and up too 1080 :o i know iam seriously over reaching here hes on a tight budget if he said i have £1000 i could recomend 100's of things but at this price iam truley lost :o

So how powerful is the APU ? and in all honestly i would perfer dedicated GPU but how good is that g840 ?

Go with the 840 system, the 6850 will annihilate the APU on the llano chip, it's only half the speed in real games (possibly a lot less). The 3870k is a much more capable CPU given that it can overclock to nearly 4GHz, but the APU graphics will not make up for the dedicated GPU.

In a years time he can drop in an ivy bridge/sandy bridge chip when they are slashed once Haswell is released.
