Hi, I am looking to start gaming on the PC and as I have no clue about computers I need some help. I have £400 to spend and I am just looking for a computer; I have a monitor and everything else. I want to be able to play games like Arma (DayZ) to a good standard.

I have read around other places while waiting for my activation and I was suggested these:

So, would you recommend any of these or is there something better I can get?

Remove the link to the competitor site before a mod removes the post.

The best of the two is

but once you add an OS and decent graphics card then it takes it out of your budget.

YOUR BASKET

1 x Networking Not Selected £0

1 x Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium SP1 License 32/64-Bit - NO CD **INTERNAL USE ONLY** £79.99

1 x No Hard Drive Upgrade £0
1 x Standard Build Systems - Approximately 5-7 working days £0
1 x Sapphire HD 7850 2048MB GDDR5 PCI-Express Graphics Card w/ FARCRY3 & Sleeping Dogs PC Games £155.99

I would save up some more money until you have around £500 - £600 for a good tower.

Would you be willing to self build as it may be a little cheaper? It is easier than it sounds.

Thats effectively £300 for a gaming PC. Its not going to get you anywhere really. You ideally want at least £550 including an OS.
