a friend has asked me to build him a pc for around £900.

Its a gaming pc, ive put together a few ideas but im open to suggestions as i have never realy used intel chips before.

I'll second that, not only because of that, but then he will tell his friends that you did it for you = more demands to build pc's then more support etc etc, i'v got that now aswell as working as an IT technician in a school I have now the job title of IT technician for school and village and it sucks.
 
I know it sounds bad, but start charging......people soon leave you alone when they know you want money :D

I've had years of agro with friends over pcs..........pcs have been fine but they always mess up the software and expect you to sort it for free
