Need to build a PC for video / photo editing, audio recording, Dreamweaver for web design, plus MS Office apps. Running Vista.

Have unused Antec Sonata case, and Enermax Liberty 400W PSU available.

Anyone willing to spec. me a system - price point £500 if possible!

Does the budget need to include monitor, kb, mouse, speakers, or vista at all?.....

Is it going to be a work PC and is overclocking required?...

Assuming you don't want to game and the PC is for working on....

4gb of RAM would always be a great help in terms of vista and professional audio or video editting software. Of couse you could it cheaper by buying 2 sets of 2gb kits.

Also you could also go for a cheaper board, i just figured at £70 inc it was a bargain... ;)

Yeah, need an OEM copy of Home premium. But have other peripherals

Yeah, is to be a work PC. Not too fussed about OC potential

Cheaper motherboard and 2 x 2gb sets of memory and you should squeeze vista into the spec above.

4gb isnt essential i'm just thinking in terms of professional level audio and video editting where large amounts of memory helps, hence why i specced a sound card to.
