I need a PC for web development.

I need to have the highest disk read / write possible, but don't want to spend huge money.

I have £500 to spend, dont need monitors / keyboard / mouse - just the bare box.

What do you recommend?

A raptor would have better access times, but this set up would have better read/writes, plus you're also getting drive redundancy which helps protect data against drive failiure

the programming I do is compiled code. I.E it takes 500 files and compiles them in to one dll.

In this circumstance, I wonder if the access time would be more key as lots of access quickly to small files is required.
