Hi,

I'm looking to build a PC that will allow me to edit GoPro videos (via GoPro Studio) and potentially play Battlefield 1. I already have the OS, SSD and monitors, keyboards, mice so it's just the rig itself.

I only have £600 to spend so I guess I wont be able to play Battlefield on full resolution but any help would be appreciated.

I've stolen this build from another thread, any good (think I may need a better GPU??):

1 x Gigabyte Z170-Gaming K3 - Intel Core i5 6600K Bundle **£10 Saving**= £280.98
1 x Kingston Fury Black 16GB (2x8GB) DDR4 PC4-19200C15 2400MHz Dual Channel Kit - Black (HX424C15FB2K2/1= £49.99
1 x OcUK Tech Labs - Pre Noise Dampened Case - NZXT Phantom 410 Midi-Tower Case - Black/Orange= £106.99
1 x be quiet! Dark Rock Advanced CPU Cooler= £46.99
1 x EVGA Supernova G2 650W '80 Plus Gold' Modular Power Supply= £86.99

Thanks

Thanks very much both, would the Skylake board and chip be a better future proof option?

Also doesnt the Intel Core i5-6400 come with a stock cooler??

Hopefully I can build on the PC once the wife lets me spend more money
