Looking at the Anandtech results, the A8-5600K IGP can run Minecraft at 1920X1200 using maximum details at nearly 70FPS. However, they use 1600MHZ DDR3.
The build uses much faster 2133MHZ DDR3,so if the A10 IGP DDR3 scaling is seen, performance should probably be upto 20% better.
The motherboard also has 4 RAM slots,USB3.0 and SATA3.0 and a cooled 6 phase VRM meaning some overclocking should be possible too.
If you don't want the extras you can always go for a cheaper motherboard:

Another alternative,is the Celeron G530,8GB 1600MHZ DDR3 and an HD6670 GDDR3. However,I suspect the A8 CPU should still faster overall for gaming(single thread performance is probably better than a G530) and the IGP should probably be in the ballpark of an HD6670 with the faster RAM. Looking at OcUK pricing, the setup won't be necessarily cheaper(around £121 for the Intel CPU,RAM and GPU and around £116 for the AMD CPU and RAM).
If you want an increase in performance,I would look at the A10-5800K,or maybe the Celeron G530 and an HD7750.
Regarding Windows, you should consider the deal Windows 8 upgrade deals.
