Its games related I suppose ...

I have my own PC and general windows/MS account, which all works fine. I'm building a PC for the boy for lockdown, school work and the ability to play the odd game on it ... mainly Minecraft. I see that with MS Game Pass, I would have access to a fair amount of games (including Minecraft), a fair few of which I might play from time to time.

If I get the game pass on my account / machine initially, is there a way to setup the boys new PC to be able to make use if it ?

I've had a scan through google-fu, but dont seem to have figured out the bst approach yet.

The important bit is that you need to log in to Game Pass on a second PC with the same login details. Then you should be good to go. Game Pass login can be different from Windows login.

I would REALLY reccomend setting up a microsoft account for them
I've the same issue with my daughter. she's minecraft mad and will spend ALL DAY on there given half a chance.
if you setup their account and drop the membership on them then you can still set up limits on their time using microsoft family

Thanks
He has an old laptop which has an MS account on it which I think I setup for me to have the parental controls over ... I'll need to check what those details are.

When you say drop the membership on them, do you mean along the lines of:

Parent PC + Parent MS Account + Parent xBox Game account

Kids PC + Kids MS account (controlled by Parent MS account) -> uses Parent xBox Game account to log in.
