Hi,

For the past few weeks when I have started my machine it boots into Windows but then won’t open any programs then around 1 - 5 mins later the programs I attempted to open e.g. Chrome, Outlook will open and the pc will run fine.

Steps I have taken to resolve the issue:

- Clean installation of Windows 7 64 Bit
- Replaced the SSD and re-installed Windows
- Checked device manager for any missing drivers
- Ran Memtest which passed

Has anybody had this are a similar issue?

I am now wondering if it has something to do with my motherboard.

My Spec:

Windows 7 Home Premium 64 Bit
Crucial M4 SSD
Asus P8P67 Motherboard
Sapphire ATI 5770
Corsair 650W PSU
Intel i5 2500K
Corsair H60
Kingston Hyper X Genesis Grey RAM 8GB
- The system is around 1.5 - 2 years old

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks
Ben

check the m4 first of all, been lots of issues regarding the 5400hour use bug

loadup ssdlife and check the firmware version and hours use,and flash to latest firmware to fix the freezing, assuming its that

Thanks for your responses.

The issue was present before and after the re-installation of Windows.

I replaced a Kingston SSD with the Crucial M4 - The issue again was and is present on both.

Thanks
Ben
