My pc randomly freezes and the mouse cursor starts behaving oddly.I orignally thought it was a failng graphs card so purchased a 7950 vapor-x 2months ago.The cursor sticks and when i try moving around the screen it will jump from point to point forcing me to hit restart button, upon which i get a weird sound form speakers.I have o/clocked my i5 2500k and im wondering if its this that is the cause.

checked task manager and cpu usage is at around 3% memory is fine also..the only thing i can conclude is the motherboard i bought was a second hand one.i got it from a local independant pc shop,of which im good friends with the owner, the board was from one ov his mates who was selling it(gigabyte z68xp-ud3p).he was selling because of uprade, the ivy-bridges had just came out.all other parts were brand new.the 8gb ram(2x4 corsair vengeance sticks are showing in bios at 1333,but stated to be 16000.ive changed that with XMP,manual set these times also and also reverted back to auto..but all to no avail..a new board in order?? or am i one ov the unlucky ones who got a dodgy chip..i also have wireless card in aswell.that at time of issue shows the little yellow indicator symbol..can it be iffy card..i havnt directly connected through ethernet yet so cant be sure?
