Hi all iv got a very annoying issue that has been going on for about 2months now.
After playing diablo 3 for approx 2hrs my pc screen freezes and i have to reboot pc.
I dont think the pc crashes i have a feeling its GPU related could be wrong.
I hooked up a 2nd monitor and put speedfan/and msi afterburner so keep an eye on temps.
When it crashes my cpu is approx 60oC and my gpu around 70oC. not that hot in my eyes.
I have all the latest firmware and bios etc.
I have remove 2 sticks of ram as they are old and done a memtest all day, no issues came back.

I thought i could be gpu issue so uninstalled driver and reinstalled, i have even put diablo 3 video settings down to the lowest to see if that helps, with no joy.

Im not the most tech about pc's but i have done all that i think i can im just hoping someone here may of had something the same or i have missed something?

i got a:
asus sabertooth board with AMD FX-9590 cpu
Nvidia GTX 670

Hope this is all the info i can provide

Had/have a similar issue recently that I'm still trying to work out.

My screen 'freezes' but goes totally grey with white horizontal lines. I'm using an MSI R9 270x and have done the same you have, uninstalling/reinstalling drivers and trying to monitor the temperatures.

I'm assuming it's down to either a bad GPU (or drivers), or power (lack of). Could it be a power issue with you too?

i don't get any lines just a complete freeze, i got a corsair 850w psu about 5months old so I'm hoping its given my system enough power.

I'd imagine it does, yes. I'm working with 600W so it could be an issue for me (??).

Afraid I don't really have any other suggestions (relative n00b) so would be interested to see if anyone else does, or what it turns out to be.
