My PC will randomly freeze whilst watching videos on youtube, and also sometimes whilst on the bbc iplayer desktop app. I've tried re-installing flash on the computer but with no success. Is there anything else that I can do? Thanks for looking :)

is this with firefox by any chance..... if it is blame firefox as it's been listed as a bug for ages (flash hasn't worked properly since the 'plugin container' was added) - I get it from time to time too.
Flash should work fine with other browsers such as chrome or even ie....

Sorry for late reply - using the amd 5800k with integrated graphics - no dedicated card. I tried firefox earlier, happens with both firefox and chrome. How do I check the even viewer?

Critical events are kernel-power - I assume that's when I've reset the computer by pressing the reset button?

Flash is a POS. I've had the same problem a while ago, reinstalled windows as it was getting on, and worked fine after.

Also, since I've swapped the GPU from a 6950 to a 7970, I've got very intermittent Chrome browser crash with youtube, and my I Player doesn't minimise back from fullscreen corectly. Go figure!
