Update: seems to be something causing AI Suite III to crash the system but I don't know why.
Not sure what is going on, but W10 and W8.1 on my system (see sig), have started freezing shortly after getting into windows.
Seems to be before it loads up AI Suite (maybe). So I stopped that from starting and now the system on 8.1 hasn't frozen at stock setting yet.
Seems very unusual though as if it were that then why both OS's? (on separate disks).
Only seemingly relevant error I see in event viewer is a fault exception for dipawaymode.exe. Temps, voltages, fans seem fine.
p.s. This is a little disheartening as I have a brand new Gigabyte R9 380 4GB G1 arriving on mon/tue
Update1: Well... managed to OC the GPU and uninstalled AI Suite III in case it was that, and so far very stable. Played Tomb Raider for an hour and no issues.
