PC FREEZING

i installed a e6300 and a new hitachi H/D a few days ago and been trying to reinstall a game which needs patching, but everytime i try the system freezes up :mad:

anyone got an idea what might be causing this ?

help please as its doing my head in :mad:

might help if you mention what game and what patch.

is the game freezing or is the pc freezing when you try and run the patch ?

its 2142 and its freezing when i run the patch, ive downloaded it from 2 sites and it still happens with both patches

Overclocked at all? Freezes in any other situation?

its the sata drive i think but not sure whats causing the freezes
