Pc freezing

Hi guys,

Basically if I give my pc the slightest knock it locks up, everything stops working, even the mouse,

Does anyone have any ideas what may be causing this? I have tried firmly pressing all my components and it still does the same thing,

Power cable not got stressed along the line somewhere?

Check the ATX 20 /24 pin connector
Remove it and actually look closely at the plug and make sure none of the pins have been pushed out the back of the plug.

Im pretty sure that the knock is causing it. Does it lock up if you don't knock it? Seems pretty straight forward to me

Sounds like a faulty hdd ide/sata or power cable, cos if windows looses connection or power to the windows drive everything will freeze up.
