PC Game controller ?

Hi all, does any one know if its poss` to get a PS3 rumble pad to work correctly on PC.
I want to get a good bike racing game (SBK`09 ?) and have proportional steering and throttle/brakes.
Or can anyone advise as to what is a good pad style controller for PC driving/riding games.

You can use PS3 controller with windows. I've got it working perfectly with Windows 7 64 bit.

I'd stick with a Xbox 360 controller though. No need to mess around with drivers.
 
Thankyou very much guys. 360 it is. I had been hoping to use exsiting ps3 pad, but every thing i`ve read about setting one up sounds like far to much trouble.

I use an old xbox controller that was lying about, to make use of it all it needed was a quick mod and it now plugs into a USB port, ace for driving games.

This may help if you also happen to have one spare.
 
+1 for the 360 controllers.
