PC game super threads

Hi all

I like reading the game threads on here but its always so painful having to sift through 50 pages from before the game was even released. Its nice to come on and get peoples first impressions and see if there are any issues.

I thought maybe this could be fixed by a new rule, 'official' threads could be in 2 parts. Official Pre Release, and Official Post Release. That way those of us who aren't interested in the hype etc can easily jump in when a game is released.

What does everyone think or is it too much?

I think trying to enforce multiple threads for a single game is a stupid idea.

We had 2 threads for GTA V. One started as soon as the game was announced and the other when the PC game launched. It worked well as the first op was just a couple of words whereas the new OP includes tons of info and is kept up to date.

I remember that one it was good. Probably what got everyone together online.
