PC gamers > Console gamers...

I gave up PC gaming because all the games I was buying were console ports and played better when I plugged a 360 controller into the pc. The only games that weren't ports were rts's and the last one of those I bought was Empire total war which was a real disappointment.

So I went to the source and got a 360. It's fun and I get to sit in a comfy chair where I don't have my back to the wife all the time so can also talk to her while playing, enhancing my marriage score ;) .
I prefer it - who cares what some elitist idiots think :D :)

Simple really more kids play consoles. People forget adult gamers of today were the child gamers of yesterday, they've had a lot more practice/experience on games that weren't as dumbed down as some of today's titles. I recently played a few old Atari games, maybe I'm rubbish but they were pretty tricky ;)

I like both:D I have an upto date but sensible PC. The GTX 460 you see in my sig. replaced a 15 month old GTX 260 that was bought for £138.99 and sold for £85 so as you can see, I don't go mad on the money side of things. Even so, console gaming is much cheaper than PC gaming. I spend next to nothing on PS3 games. They drop to about £17.99 in no time and be sold afterwards for slightly less or sometimes, slightly more. PC games tend to be a bit cheaper but then you can't sell those so it works out about the same/bit cheaper on the PS3. My point being that console games don't cost £40 as some people like to think. even something like Uncharted 2 one of the biggest PS3 games a few months ago is £15 on the first site that I look at and you couldn't fail to get £10 for it on ebay.

Another point for me is that there are too many essesential games of this generation that are either console only E.G Red Dead Redemption or PS3 only E.G Heavy Rain so that's another reason why I have both.

Then you don't get the concept of PC gaming. If you are a PC gamer, you enjoy your games and you game. You don't want/need distractions like a wife or 'comfy chairs'. In fact, comfy chairs relax you too much so you can't focus, you need to a hard chair to keep your mind purely on the game and owning nubs.

Plus, keyboard and mouse is so much better :p

That's the whole point of pc-gaming.

If you want to sit in a egg-shaped pod suspended from the ceiling, wearing 3-D goggles displaying in 2 languages and controlling everything with a 3d mouse attached to each limb: You can.
