As title really. My 4yr old daughter loves using my PC to play on the cbeebies website and I am actually very happy for her to do this as it allows me to get some quality PS3 time in ;)

I know you can get software for kids but was wondering if there's anything which anyone would recomend I look out for?

see if there's a Where's Wally game out, had one AGES ago for my brother, i ended up completing it too, was a pretty cool game, i was 10, he was 5

Tycoon games?
When I was 4 I used to play transport tycoon & commander keen 4 lol.
I then converted to RTS ( c&c, age of empires, knights and mechants) games @ the age of around 6.

My 7 year old loves playing Need for Speed Most Wanted and Test Drive Unlimited, Both have all cars unlocked and stacks of cash in the bank.. She drives around making up her own games - Like going shopping and stuff - She loves it :)

Awaiting reply from Ibot :p

he'd probably suggest that children are a load of rubbish, as well as pc gaming on the whole.

yeah the sims is ok, but a bit complicated at times for younger children. racing games are ideal really, but not sure how interested a 4 year old girl would be in racing. worth a try

well my son stared playing cod when he was 4(now 7)and my other son who is 4 now plays everything crysis,hl2 is his fav why do they have too play teletubbies there not daft and pick it up quickly.

I was thinking more along the lines of stuff specifically made for the age group rather than suitable mainstream games tbh !!!

That way they'll never learn something :p.

Honestly though, don't know, I never, even when I was 3, got games for my ''age group''.

She already has a V-smile, which is good for when I want to use the PC and she loves Dora on that so I will look out for the Dore series ta. Has anyone played Dogz or Catz on PC? Do you think it's suitable for a 4 year old - difficulty wise not content wise.
