Well I done a search of the forum and I didn't find any threads with this name or alike to this, so I think I m safe in saying there is not one, maybe there is a reason for that I don't know, only find out.
So what is this thread for?
As the thread states, users may review a can a give a insight to what the game is like, and more importantly (to me) is it worth the money and time, we all have different tastes however.
why when we have places like IGN etc?
I m aware and they do some good reviews on games but often I found them to be harsh on a game or over rate them, or they fail to see certain aspects of games this thread is so people may write a review on games and what its like in the long run, how it plays etc, and would they recommend it to anyone else. At the end of the day reviewers have tastes just as much as we do, and most of it is just personal option, for example some people may say that COD5 is a bad game, or just think its another WW2 shooter and not worth bothering with.
Say if I do review a game or a few how would i do it?
Write the review how you think its best. As long as you hit the important areas. Also give each a score out of what ever up to you, and give your reasons etc.
I will give a example in a list format.
This above is only a example, if you want to reword or change it than do so its your choice.
Also include how the game plays as in performance or your machine spec and the over all impression the game had on you, and anything else you might want to add.
A few extra notes
Review a game only once, unless its like a sequel to it, I know its most likely going to happen if this thread takes off, and I can not do anything to stop that.
You may debate on a games review, within reason, but since its personal option it most likely will not change much.
Also anyone may do a mini review, just summarising the thoughts of the user on the game, and score it.
With regards to pictures you may use them of course, in full HD but do remember they take ages to load, so a thumbnail would be nice. While on the subject of pictures, try not to quote them, as it drives some people nuts.
Right that is all from me, flame me...or what ever, get reviewing ( ideally )
If there is anything i forgotten tell me, but the reviewing is up to you, its up to you how you do the review, and how you structure it I want to stress that point.
