Pc games that are good with an Xbox controller?

Here's a few games I've played with the controller, plus a couple of driving ones as I don't have a steering wheel set up for sim driving, they may not be to your taste though :)

DIRT RALLY
FIFA/PES
EURO TRUCK SIM
GTA

Most of the games in the last 10 years will support the Xbox controller so it’s really just choose what takes your fancy. The Steam page for each game will tell you. But go and play the three Dishonored games. :D

I use a controller for Forza Horizon 4 and Shadow of war, Witcher 3, Skyrim, Star Citizen and STO.

As said above, most games support controllers.

Pretty much any game that is on console aswell will be mapped to have Xbox one controller support on PC. Pretty much every game I play on PC aside from RTS, management etc games are with controller these day some include controller support I have played, Witcher 3, Elder scrolls, fallout, Gears of war, Ace combat, Assasins creed, Ghost recon Dishonoured and so on. Personally much prefer playing these sorts of games on a controller.

Every game apart from FPS. Even older games you can use software to remap for a pad.

FPS work fine with pads. I've not played a FPS on PC with a mouse for over 10 years.

Edit - Single player campaigns, obviously.

RTS are generally the ones that don't work. Even then there are exceptions such as XCOM: Enemy Unknown

Most games (other than serious fps games and strategy games) from about 2008 onwards will detect and "just work" with the x360 or xbone controller.

My random suggestions though are bioshock infinite and Fallout New Vegas - these are older games that should run great at 4k on a TV (if that is what you're doing) on modern hardware.
