Cinema mode on those monitors significantly oversaturates colours and reduces shade range whilst skewing the gamma curve. You lose accuracy and variety and get an elevation of dark detail such that 'unintended' details are visible. In my opinion it is not the best operating mode for such a high-calibre monitor and a bit of a waste of its capabilities, but each to their own.

Hi, thanks for that, its the first decent monitor l'v ever had just had it a week, so just trying different settings, apart from gaming l do a bit photoshop work.

My son who's a Jeweller also use's this monitor for designing custom jewellery and other things to do with his job, so he will get the most benefit out of this monitor.

We both find this monitor a treat to use, less strain on the eye's, so making it easier to concentrate. Also because of its size its not as tiring when using it for long periods like the 24" we had.

It is undeniably an excellent monitor, one of my favourites in fact. It's nice to hear it's being put to good use with photoshop and design as well as gaming. Glad you're enjoying it. :)
