it was also on steam for 2 days(ended last night) but was few quid more expensive than gog, I was trying to decide between steam and gog but think i might wait for it to get to 75% off on steam(already have a large back log of games).
I've played fallout 2 and new vegas, is fallout 3 worth it? I'm used to the dark humour and canon which people say isn't in F3 so much.

just seen it now, I only looked from posts on the 11th not 10th
I meant the game engine, not the game itself. The game is just a bog standard fps shooter with some rpg elements, nothing ground breaking but still good. I'm not going to list the unique things the game engine does, if you want find out just google it, there is a reason why the game is 21gb.

Looks like they fixed the close up issue in an update early this year... and I installed it immediately after seeing this guys screen shots
Really surprised how much the graphics have improved over the original release.

Wait for Halloween Steam sale it drops to £7.49 usually otherwise you need to buy at full price as all versions use Steam so no used copies available.
