True, but Halo was a mass advertised exclusive that no 360 owner could escape from. I think those 'estimated' PC figures for 2009 are a fantastic sign of where PC gaming is going. Remember we had no flagship Valve or Blizzard games in 2009 to directly compare that to those of Halo. Not that this is a competition of course.

And this is digital download only so not counting Wrath of Lich King sales or existing WOW figures.

Edit. I guess this will include HL2 figures from 2004 onwards

Only that is just digital sales, does not include subscriptions or retail.

But, it's nice to see PC figures, and certainly backs up that PC gaming is far from dead.

Yeah don't really need the PC versus console arguments. Just nice to see something positive even if estimated, that PC gaming is still in business. What with the Alan Wake situation and various developers concentrating on other platforms.
