I've had an ear stop working on a second pair of Sennheisers, so any recommendations around £30 for gaming, preferably not Sennheisers.

I'm in the same boat and the plantronics 780s do seem decent from what people are saying. I'll probably order a pair in the next week or so.

Another vote for the Gamecom 780, been using them for over a year now and they haven't missed a beat. Only gripe I have is that the material they use on the earcups and headband is a pain to clean.

Koss PortaPro + dx.com clip on mic. Miles better audio, positional accuracy, and clarity than an equivalently priced headset.

I've also got the Plantronics 780 Headset as so has my mate, cracking headset for the price. A little tip for cleaning the headband and the earcups is use some sticky tape, it takes off all the little bits of fluff without much trouble at all :D

Tbh ive tried all headset from £20-£100 and the 780 really hurts your ears.

Best headset for price performance is the creative fatality one for £20.

Ive just sent back a FREQ 7 as it was cutting my ears.........

Maybe i have big lugs lol but my brothers Tritons and his other 250 quid pair are so comfy its like you havent got them on but i dont wanna pay £200+ on a headset haha

Theres a logitech pair for £30 if you look around, look comfy and will be decent, dont buy into the 7.1 headsets that are under £100 they suck tbh and stereo sounds fine for games.
