PC Gaming Rig ~ £400

Hey all,

Been needing a new computer for a LONG.. Time!
Generally lurk here and there and thought I'd ask for some help on speccing a full rig spec!

I don't need a mouse, keyboard or monitors.. Currently have a XPS710 if anything salvageable from that? (perhaps sound card? "SoundBlaster Audigy 2ZS sound card") and disk readers etc.
I'd be using the case from it since its a fairly big case?
The hdd is 300GB but very.. very old (05) so if this affects playing games etc then i guess i'd need to upgrade that aswell?

I'd be using it for just games (Bf3, css, WoW etc) and internet browsing of course.

I'm not fussed about storage space as I don't use a lot anyway aswell as putting windows 7 on it or XP?

You could remove the SSD make way for a bigger HDD, but the SSD would improve the boot time of the PC as well as the loading stages for games.

The i3 could also do you nicely if you can get the extra cash:

For the little extra, I would be inclined to go with the 2GB 7850 and the i3 configuration Idleman has put together. You can always upgrade to an i5 later on.

If you play WoW a lot i would find sum way of getting a SSD in there, cuts down all them loading screens.
