PC hanging after Win 7 installation

Apologies if this is in the wrong forum.

After building the following system I have upgraded from Win Xp to Win 7 Home Premium:

AMD Phenom x2 555 3.2Ghz (Unlocked to 4 cores, but no OC)
Gigabyte GA-M68M-S2P Mobo
Sapphire HD 6770
3GB DDR2 667MHZ
600W OCZ PSU

The installation of 32 bit went without issue, after that I installed all the required drivers, AvG Free and Zone Alarm Firewall.

Everything seemed fine and I was very pleased with the overall performance after trying a few games out.

However I have found that the system will hang when I view certain webpages, mainly those with embedded video or detailed images.

The system will simply stop responding, but no BSoD or error message is seen - so I have to reset the system via the case.

I have tried uninstalling the current drivers and installing updated/older drivers for pretty much everything I can think of - this had no effect.

After trying IE8, Chrome and Firefox - the result is the same, I have also tried reinstalling Flash and Shockwave, as this seemed to be the most obvious considering when the system is hanging.

Also I have formatted and reinstalled Win 7 a few times just to be sure, both the 32bit and 64bit versions, this also had no affect.

I only had time to remove both RAM sticks in stages and also disabling the unlocked cores before I had to leave for work, so I have not tried with just the on board gfx yet.

Other than removing my 6770 or going back to Win XP, I can't really think of anything else I could try when I get back from work.

If anyone has any additional steps they could suggest, it would be appreciated.

Cheers
