PC Hanging. RAM issue?

Hello,

My PC is randomly hanging and becomes totally unresponsive. I want to check whether it is a RAM issue using memtest but I can't for the life of me get it to boot from USB. I have a MSI Z97 Gaming 7 mobo and I think I am getting the boot order right. Has anyone had similar issues?

I am running the RAM on its XMP profile which I thought had sorted it. Getting hanging on games and chrome.

Any help would be great as it's frustrating me no end.

No blue screens. It usually follows a mouse click and if there is sound it continues to play.

There are many possibilities. If your PC is hanging at the start-up of window than their might be an issue in your motherboard or if you PC is hanging while using their might be some extra programs are running at backed or it's might be your RAM issue.

Never happens on startup. Just at random and its only started happening recently. Wish I could get memtest to boot :mad:
