Hi All,

Well its finally happened my current main rig has died so I need to replace it.

Can you check this psec please and let me know if anything is glaringly wrong. This is all the bits I need as I have the rest apart from cooler which is going to be a OCZ Vendetta 2 I think.

I dont play many games its mostly used as a work machine and for video /music/browsing.

looks good, the graphics is overkill though. you could save money and noise bt getting a cheaper passive card.

i'd spend the money on 2x2gb pc6400 RAM (pc8500 is overkill)

Yes I did wonder about that but its not a lot of cash and it does have to run a 24" LCD at high res?

Don't need 650W PSu, also get a basic Intel C2D. Replace GPU with a passive model.
Which PSU would you recoommend?

I was going wih the E8500 because it gets some many good reviews and I do like to muck around with o/clocking :D plus I ldont like waiting around and have a habit of having vast numbers of apps/windows open...

Stick with the 8500 if you can afford it, it's a good chip.
