Hey guys,
For the last week or so, my PC has been turning off, and refusing to power on, It would power after a few attempts. Today, the PC turned off and won't power on at all, no lights noise etc. I have taken everything out and put back in, wires too.
The only thing out of place is the CMOS battery. It's attached via a red and black wire to the motherboard. The black wire has snapped / come out of the socket.
The PSU is only a couple of weeks old, (from overclockers)
Can this battery stop a boot, or is there something more sinister going on?
Thanks for your help
