Hi there,

i have a q6660 that has been overclocked from 2.4 to 3.4 and its been running at these settings for the last year and a half. Today my friend brought his pc as it wouldnt boot and so i took my gfx card out and put it in his machine as we thought his gfx was on the fritz.

Anyway when i put my gfx card back into my machine, windows 7 would just bluescreen on startup.

It's very puzzling. THe only way i can boot into windows is to go back to 2.4ghz.

My theory is that i disturbed the ultra fine eco system within my case by removing the card. Somehow the overclocking dust was disrupted and now my pc is throwing a bit...

Anyone have any theories? I am gonna start bumping up the overclock bit by bit til i find the new stable point. Just hope its over 3ghz :P.

grrr all fixed, for some reason the bios had lost all the voltage settings and had gone back to default...

no idea why it did that. bumped them all back up and we are back in business.
