Pc have nothing but black screen

My montor is broken so pc is connected by hdmi to the TV.....pc boots but I get nothing but a black screen on the TV..... i get tv showing no signal then a black screen it shows in the corner 600x400 at 60htz but nothing no windows no blue screen nothing ......if tried both hdmi outputs on the card no change....have tried the hdmi cable and it works ok on the ps4 so its not a faulty cable ....any ideas? Its a gtx1070 gpu

Sounds like it's a resolution issue - the TV is unable to display the resolution.

You could try going into safe mode when it boots, delete the graphics card from device manager and restart, but i'm not sure if that would resolve it.

Just found another possible option.. once you think the PC has booted up, could try pressing: Win + ctrl + shift + B Gpu reset command.

Only other thing I would suggest is to try and borrow a proper monitor from a friend, family or maybe even work so that you can drop the resolution if you want to use it on the TV.
 
If possible I'd try a different hdmi cable, I've had a few problems with connecting 4k displays to equipment that can output at that res. A 1070 can do 4k and you can have a cable that'll work fine on a ps4 ox bluray player but have a problem with 4k or higher refresh rates.
I had a problem with my computer outputting to a TV, and another problem when I hooked up a uhd bluray player, both were fixed by replacing the older cables with 4k ones (they only cost about a fiver so it was worth a go).
 
Should be easy to google search the TV make/model to check what supported resolutions it lists. That's a very strange resolution, not even quite VGA.
