Yep, I just dont understand that it was working last night all well and installed most of the stuff and shut it down just before I went to bed, turned it all off by the plugs...

And now I try turn it on this morning and nothing happens...

When it first started up this morning and then went back off, it mentioned something about a CMOS Error and to Press F1 to continue is DEL to enter set-up... Also I hadntput the disc I got from the motherboard in (Think its the drivers?) Would this matter? I was in a rush to go to bed so just installed Vista etc...

But yeh, i'll try reset the CMOS Later...

Any idea of how much I should set the voltages values too? This is my very first time building a computer or even touching the BIOS so its all confusing for me hehe.

EDIT: I have OCZ4GB Vista Edition RAM

Could I have atall damaged the hardware or broken anything because I set the voltages wrong? Just cant be bothered sending stuff back etc and aint got the money to buy new parts etc...

Just to clear things up slightly, I'm Ian...This is my friends account i'm temp using for help, any other thread on this account is his...

So yeh, So I got the computer turned on (Actually using it too post this), it is all working fine and well now but the only screen I'm concerened about and I think it may even be one that comes up anyway is the one where it asks you if you would like to enter the BIOS or continue...
Is this meant to come up?
At the bottom of it, or near the bottom also it says something like "CMOS Error configuration - Deafults Locked" or so... Is this normal? if yes, It looks like im all sorted now :)

Ok, I have recorded what it says and it is as following...

Main Processor: (Some Info)
Memory Testing: (Info)
CPU Brand Name (Info)
CIE BIOS Supported.
EM64T CPU

Memory Frequency For DDR2 666 (Dual Channel Mode)

SATA Channel 1:
SATA Channel 2:
etc etc...

Cmos Checksum Error - Defaults Loaded

Press F1 to continue, DEL to enter SETUP

The bolded bit is what I'm worried about, is this meant to appear or not? If not it seems I'm all good to go with no problem :)

If you guys request a picture of the screen I'll provide one if needed...

Yes they're the same as mine, also another problem is, is when i restart the computer...it just turns off via the monitor but the system stays on and then it stops there and nothing happens...

Any idea what this could be also?

I have set the voltages on the RAM too 2.1 but when you say set it too 5-5-5-18, there is a lot more spaces to enter timings than 4 spaces if you understand what I mean? so my question is, which values do I turn to them timings?

EDIT: The Error message has no gone, I updated my Mobo drivers again and its not showing anymore :)...

Sorry for going on hehe, thanks for helping out so far though...

No, I'll check that later on :)

I'm using the Thermalright Ultra - 120 CPU Cooler. With a Noctua 120mm fan...

Also I just did a 3DMark06 Score and got 11563 as my score, would you consider this about right taking in that I aint OC'd or touched the BIOS atall apart from changing the RAM Voltage?
Whilst running it I also noticed during the CPU test it wouldnt go any higher than say 3FPS, is this right?

I have an Abit IP35 pro Mobo
Seagate Barracuda 7200 32mb cache 500gb
Quad Core Q6600 @ 2.4
OCZ 4GB RAM @800mhz
8800GTS 512MB

And with certain games that are fairly old. E.g Battle for middle Earth II, Would I need some kind of update for it too run on Vista? and other games?
