Im currently on paper building my self a gaming rig, and ive got to a end point where i think im done and im happy with the price, but due to this being the 1st pc im ordering parts for im unshore if im over doing the power supply or things are incompatible or even if they will fit in the case - i am aiming for space in the case for upgrading and better air flow.
So here comes the question - this is what i have planned currently:
Intel Core i7-3930K 3.20GHz
Asus P9X79 PRO Intel X79
Corsair Vengeance Blue 8GB DDR3 Dual Channel (2x4GB)
CoolerMaster Storm Trooper Case
Asus HD 7950 3GB
Cooler Master Hyper 412 Slim CPU Cooler
Western Digital Caviar Green 1TB
Samsung 22x DVD±RW SATA ReWriter
Corsair Enthusiast Series TX 750W
Asus PCE-N10 Network Adapter
I was either going to get amd graphics card or a equivalent nvidia as i don't really have a preference so a bit of advice on them wouldn't go a miss.
I was gona get 8gb of ram and add some in a month or two down the line as i shouldn't need more then 8 to begin with as far as i know, advice on that will be welcome.
The biggest thing i was concerned about was the power unit if its to big or to small for what i have picked. And if it will all fit nicely in the case, the other worry was the cooler for the i7, i didn't want to get something ugly nor overpriced so i picked Cooler Master Hyper 412 Slim CPU Cooler but im not sure if it is up to the task of cooling the i7 although i doubt the i7 will be under to much pressure running games and programmes that max on a quad core.
Thank you in advance and if their is any additional things you wish to inform me on or add, by all means feel free it will help a lot, thank you again.
