Hi,
I have had an ongoing problem which i have never been able to fix.
When i boot my computer up, everything is speedy. Working as expected. However, after a random amount of time, eg 5hrs-3days (i dont turn my pc off), certain games and apps start to become slow to start. Not all.
Battle.net, when i double click... the computer idles for 1 minute before starting the loadup process that then once started takes the usual couple of seconds.
Some games get to the opening screen and then the computer idles for a minute before continuing. All these programs, after the initial 1 minute idle then work as they should from that moment on.
it doesn't effect all games or apps. But always the same ones when it does start.
During this time, my cpu is idling 0%, no hdd activity, i have 32gb ram with roughly 4-8gb filled whilst this is happening.
I have done clean reinstalls over the year, never fixes the problem.
I have tried turning off antivirus etc.
My computer isn't going into sleep mode or anything in the power options. Once started, the problem persists until a reboot. Eg load battlenet after 1 minute idle. Close straight after to start up again to see if it is speedy again, no, 1 minute idle again.
Is there a way for me to see what is causing my computer to idle for ~1minute after the initial double click to open the program?
