PC Imaging over a LAN

Hey Guys

can anyone recommend any software I can use to create an image of a laptop and use the network to push that image out to another load of laptops that are all connected at the same time?

Have used RIS in the past but theres no chance of getting an AD etc setup for this, so ideally looking for something that I can just install on a PC and deploy?

You could maybe try a FOG server:

I've never used it, but a lot of people swear by it. Have a read and see if it is fit for your purpose.

If you can get hold of it, then you can use SPADA, a Linux based CD that will let you image and then send the image to another PC using netstat.

FOG does look like it'll do the job very well

And who doesnt like Free and Open-Source?!

I don't have any linux boxes around but looking at the instructions, i should be able to install it in a VM and go from there.
