Recently my Laptop broke and I was really frustrated and I had no PC so I had one of the best ideas since sliced bread. I had a load of old PC parts and I had recently bought a new TV that had a VGA connector on it so I started to get an idea ;) . So I looked under my TV and hey presto there is a draw and I am needing a PC bad I had the ingenious idea of putting the whole old PC parts in the draws :p oh yes people! Then get a wireless mouse and keyboard and hey presto it more or less a laptop :P

So I got going and next day at college my friend had another sweet idea and that was I had 6 draws doing nothing better than holding cloths so I am deciding to put a PC in each draw and cluster those bad boys! So I have 6 less than great PCs running as 1.

So far I only have 1 but it’s a working project and I am going to get 6 for sure. I will update this later with pictures of the cluster or how many PC’s I have running as 1 at that time.

Erm, fire hazard with the PSU's.

You should keep them seperately from the draws, also need rear ventilation if the rig is anything remotely powerful.

But other than that, good idea! Could do with the pictures though mind!

I should hav sum pics by tmoz and cooling is either gunna be really shody or really gd and expensive man i need a job

btw im glad u think its a gd idea ** the only 1 ive met so far who thinks tht :D

Nout wrong with it, unless it sets on fire. :(

You want to cut up the motherboard tray of a cheap £5 case to use to mount the board. Having it resting on the bottom of the case is not good if it fails in style.

two of my mates had pc's folding for the ocuk team in drawers for years :)

Old school idea still in use

Very good and looks cool when you open the drawer :)
