Hey some online games I play needs ports to be open, I'v opened them in my router and set my PC IP, but every few days the last digit changes Grrrr, how do I fix this?

Cheers

If you are not sure how to do this then post the make and model of router and I am sure someone will give intrustions on how to assign static IP's on the LAN

Assuming your router doesn't have a reserved range and or the ability to give a specific IP to MAC address, than just assign your computer a .254 IP address for the last octet.

Start, run, cmd. Type in ipconfig/all. Then go into control panel, network connections, local area connection, properties, TCP/IP, enter your static IP in here, and then get the rest of the info from ipconfig.

and make your IP 192.168.1.50 and copy the subnet and gateway IP's from your ipconfig screen, making sure to update with the same IP in your router.

You should be able to set static DHCP leases on the WRT54GS. On mine, it's under System Tools -> DHCP, but I'm not running the Linksys firmware.
